HE said yes! A sweet winter proposal | Buffalo, NY

It was a cold wintery day in downtown Buffalo when I ‘unexpectedly’ ran into Patrick and Sarah at the beautiful canal side. Unbeknownst to Patrick, this was no accident. I had photographed Patrick and Sarah on a few other occasions and Sarah is also a close photographer friend, so I was a familiar face who just happened to be out ‘location scouting’ or so I claimed when I bumped into these two loves, but Sarah had a plan. A plan that included getting down on one knee and popping the BIG question!

Guys.. I am not a good liar, which isnt necessarily a bad thing in most occasions. I get sweaty and antsy and can’t sit still.. sometimes I laugh uncontrolably or just act like a complete weirdo. But THIS was different and for a good cause.. so I leonardo dicaprio’d that sh*t and played the role like my life depended on it. I asked if I could third wheel and if they wanted a few photos just because I was there and the snow was pretty! Sarah fixed her lipstick for the photos of course.. so she looked like utter perfection as her life forever changed in front of my eyes. They began to dance.. Patrick spun her in a full circle and she took to her knee. The sweet giddy laughter of a very caught off guard Patrick and a happy, tearful Sarah was enough to make a snowmans heart melt.
